Danny & Kathy Smith, owners of Smith Transportation Equipment and Smith+Griffin, both located in Byhalia, MS, have a combined knowledge of over 50 years in the manufacturing of Transportation Equipment. Since starting STE, the Smiths have made a commitment to bringing the latest and most innovative ideas to the Airline Ground Support, agriculture equipment, loading dock and distribution center industries; and now with the purchase of the assets of the former Griffin, Inc., the Cash In Transit industry. Kathy and Danny have been married for 40 years and have 4 children, all of whom work for these companies, and 5 grandchildren.

Stephen leads the overall strategic plans and program execution of the entire Smith+Griffin organization. Representing the oldest Cash-In-Transit (CIT) vehicle manufacturing company in the United States, Stephen has over 30 years manufacturing experience, and 20 years in the CIT industry. Stephen, along with wife Tracy, have 2 children and one grandchild.
